Our annual Armistice Day ceremony has always been very important at Mounts Bay Academy. This year, due to Covid, the ceremony was live-streamed from our reception area to students and teachers in all classrooms. Student leaders from Years 10 and 11, Mr Hall and Ben who bravely stepped up to play the ‘Last Post’ and ‘Reveille’ were joined by service veterans Jack Tarr and Phil Davies. Following Mr Hall’s address and a reading by Seb we observed the two minutes silence, pausing our normal daily activity to remember those who lost their lives and gave their service for us.
