Wow! What an amazing morning! The children were set the task of solving a whodunit during the morning – who had stolen the Golden Pasty of Heamoor! During the morning they were given a range of clues that led to the culprit: Miss Osborne!
There were a range of activities during the morning based on the theme of solving crime including forensics in Science, ‘Wanted’ posters in Art, Golden Pasty biscuits in Cookery, Crime Scenes in Drama, a drumming workshop in music to ‘Smooth Criminal’, SAS climbing wall training and Police Bootcamp in PE. The Year 6 students were fantastic and we were really impressed with their positive attitudes and capacity for fun, not to mention their ability to solve a crime!
