On Thursday 3rd June a large group of Year 9 students went to see three local points of interest along the coast.
We want to Long Rock, Marazion and Lamorna where we evaluated the coastal defences and areas where the coast had eroded. We asked locals and visitors peachy they were at that particular location at its strengths and weaknesses. We also recorded the recreational, economical and environmental activities surrounding the area. Luckily it was a beautiful day and all who attended had great fun.
The purpose of our trip was preparation for our GCSE coursework in year 10. It was great to experience what we have worked so hard on in class and a brilliant way to end our ‘ Coasts ‘ topic.
