Royal Cornwall Show

Last Friday we ran our annual trip to the Royal Cornwall Show at Wadebridge.  This year saw our largest trip with 300 students attending the showground.

It was great to see all that Cornwall has to offer and the students explored all areas of the show and got involved in many exhibits.

As trip leader it is always nice to be spoken to by members of the public about the good conduct and example of our students.  This year was no exception with the Chief Constable of Devon and Cornwall Police, Shaun Sawyer, taking time to find Mounts Bay staff and express his praise for their conduct and responsible attitude.  This was supported with many more comments from exhibitors and members of the public alike.

A great day, I don’t think that there was a sticker or bug left on any stall as the students returned to the busses emblazened with colour.

A big thank you must go to all the staff who supported the day both at the show and back at school.
