Students took part in REAL Project trips last week, visiting the Minack Theatre, Penzance Station and Godrevy beach. After careful planning and preparation linked to their Essential Question, ‘How do I capture the spirit of a place?, they had a clear idea of what they needed to observe while on location.
During the visit students engaged in drawing exercises, creative writing workshops and also carried out a photo shoot to document to the landscape around them. Despite working in very cold winter weather, they were resilient and developed some beautiful outcomes.
All students are keen to start drafting their pieces of artwork and create writing after the Christmas break.
Well done everyone! Brilliant work!
