The weather continues to shine on the MBA Project Week, and there’s lots of activities taking place on and off site.
The Army are here delivering team building exercises for Year 9 on the school field.
PC Jodie Fellows is back in delivering ACT NOW Prevent Training to all Year 9s. This is fun session where students in small groups, take on the role of counter-terrorism police officers – they were given a brief from a chief sergeant in charge of a ‘made up’ investigation, specifically designed for students receiving this training.
Year 8s are continuing with their John Muir Award in Trevaylor Woods, on the Penwith Moors, on Marazion Beach and the coast path to Botallack.
Year 7 students have been focussing on ‘healthy living’, including activities looking at mindfulness, alcohol and substance awareness, smoking, First Aid and personal safety.
