On Friday 29th November, 11 MBA students passed out from the Phoenix Challenge at Penzance Fire station with flying colours. A tough week of physical and personal challenge focused on improving their skills of teamwork, motivation, and communication. Relatives, MBA staff and invited dignitaries were there to witness them complete their final drill. This involved running the hoses to extinguish a house fire, a vehicle fire, save casualties using breathing equipment and give emergency first aid. It was a very successful week with excellent behaviour and commitment – well done to the following boys:
Brandon Jones Thomas
Zac Andrewartha – Dodd
All boys will have further mentoring from the Phoenix staff and even the parents have been invited to the Fire station for an evening of discussion and challenge!
