Penzance Acoustic Review

On Thursday 19th January, the Penzance Library held the 3rd ‘Library Acoustic Jam’, an event to showcase up and coming young acoustic musicians in the area. The events are held in Penzance and St Ives Library’s and are fully focused on providing young performers with a great outlet for their music.

This latest gig was the best so far, with a diverse array of talent on show. An overflowing audience was treated to such a high level of music; you could have been forgiven at wandering why you hadn’t paid to get in!

Mounts Bay students went along in mass, working as a group to perform and to support each other in the audience.  We had great performances from Olivia Stephens, performing for the first time outside of MBA, Jai New, Theo Black, Shania Curnow and Kazia Crips, Callie Kennedy and Sophie Weeks, and Nat Dwelly.

It was a great event, and we are all looking forward to the next one.
