Numeracy Bugs

Watch out, there’s maths about!  Students, Teachers and TAs have been asked to keep an eye open for any uses of maths springing up around the academy.  It could be anything from counting colours in art to producing graphs in geography.

All you need to do is email Mr Kent after the lesson, or at the end of the week telling him:

The maths being used e.g. adding up

The Year group e.g. Year 10

The subject e.g. Drama

Confirmed sightings will be rewarded with a bright red ‘Numeracy Bug’ to stick on the teacher’s whiteboard.

The teacher with the most numeracy bugs at the end of the semester will get a prize. To make it fair on the less mathematical subjects, there will also be a second prize drawn at random from all the entries.
