Report by Luke Robinson:
On Tuesday 18th December Mounts Bay Academy held it’s annual Christmas market.
The Northern Lights Fair was a festive evening featuring stalls with fun gifts, toys, food, and a raffle. The stalls were run by both Mounts Bay students and staff, charities and outside businesses. The academy laid on some fantastic entertainment for the customers to enjoy. Performances included singing from GCSE Performing Arts students, dancers, the Academy’s concert band and student and staff choirs. In all there were three and a half hours of fabulous festive tunes.
The fair was packed with people doing there Christmas shopping, buying Christmas presents and stocking fillers, also enjoying a nice glass of mulled wine and a mince pie.
“The diversity and standard of performances was inspiring. The stalls were particularly good this year, with loads of fantastic things to buy.” – Luke New
