To discuss an issue with one or more people in order to reach an understanding or agreement.
Negotiation occurs in business, legal proceedings, amongst nations and in personal situations like marriage, divorce and parenting
Etymology: Negotiatus – From Latin: negotiari which means “to carry on business”. In the same way, something which is “non-negotiable” is something which is firmly established and cannot be changed through discussion.
