Mounts Bay Academy students Olivia Stephens, Nat Dwelly and Huck and Woody New will be supporting singer song writer Sarah McQuaid at the Acorn in Penzance this Friday night (5th December) at 8pm. Sarah’s musical output reflects her own eclectic background: she was born in Spain, raised in Chicago, holds dual US and Irish citizenship, and now lives in rural England. Refusing to be pigeonholed, she spans the genres with both her beautifully crafted originals and her interpretations of material from around the globe and down the centuries. Tickets are £10 in advance or £12 on the door.
On Thursday afternoon Sarah will be inspiring a group of Arts Award students at Mounts Bay when she will be running a workshop in the Cube.
