Moroccan Surf Trip

Just before Easter we embarked on the fourth MBA Moroccan  surf trip. After a very long journey from Penzance, and even this year students from the Five Islands School, we arrived late Tuesday morning ready for our first surf session in the sea. The week consisted of two sessions a day and all the students were fantastic at making sure they did not miss any. The surf was quite big on occasions and the group handled the waves brilliantly making fabulous progress over the week. Chris Brown from Global educated everyone on Rips, currents and the finer details of how to improve their surfing technique. The weather was great in the days with often high winds and rain during the night which was a relief! As well as the amazing beach, surf and local doughnuts (only 10p!) the group were taken on a trip to the local market with wonderful local Moroccan stalls and on one street a local snake charmer! A massive thanks to Global Boarders for organising the trip and Miss Julien for helping staff the trip. If you are interested in coming on the next trip please see Mr Veal.
