The travel up to Tregony saw Nick Nowell being assigned the role of travel guide looking after the directions, the journey up involved many different subjects including Geography, Maths, History, Science and obviously P.E. After managing to get lost at the village of Tregony, we finally made it to the ground after 1 hour 30 minutes in the minibus.
Mounts Bay won the toss and elected to bat we got of to a good start being 30-0 after 5 overs. We finished on 124-2 of 20 overs with a superb batting performance from Kieran Bowden making 66*.
Roseland came into bat with a tough task on their hands, Mounts Bay got of to a good start restricting them to 20-1 of 5 overs, Roseland’s opening batsman had a fighting spirit making 22 but their team ended up on 61-10. A good sporting match with Mounts Bay the victors.
