Kayakers Scandinavian Expedition
A group of 8 pupils will be leaving for a kayaking trip of a lifetime. The members of the kayak expedition club have been learning paddling and expedition skills since the beginning of the year. Now they have an opportunity to use what they have learned on an international expedition. They are flying to Stockholm and will spend the next week exploring the Saint Anna archipelago which is south of Stockholm. They expect to have remote and wild camp spots on uninhabited islands and to see the wilderness of southern Sweden at it’s summer best. They will have all their food and kit stored in their double kayaks. They will be navigating, exploring, cooking and camping and will be totally self sufficient for the week.
