This week Katlin Murray-Lambrou has been awarded a Da Vinci Award for her amazing homework. Katlin and her classmates were asked to produce a model of a motte-and-bailey castle. Katlin produced a wonderful edible model, made out of cake, icing, and other delicious building materials to share with her class. The accuracy of her design was impressive, as was the extra research she carried out while on a family holiday in Wales over half term. Katlin’s homework included a detailed explanation of how motte-and-bailey castles are built and her use of technical language was outstanding.
Report by Mr Payne
“Not only is it creatively, technically and artistically impressive, but also serves as brilliant inspiration for how different subjects can link together. Future Great British Bake Off contender? Well done Katlin.”
