For 15% of their GCSE course Year 11 geographers have to conduct some investigative Geography… They had to prove or disprove the hypothesis, “St Ives is a honeypot site providing both human and physical attractions for tourists.”
“On Monday Year 11 Geography students went, on the train, for the annual field trip to St Ives for our controlled assessment. The sun was shining as we our collected data on tourism; we did land-use and footfall surveys; assessed the cars in car parks: asked our questionnaires of the tourists and ate ice cream on the beach! It was a good Monday! ” – Emily Pullen 11 Blue
It is always a pleasure when members of the public comment on how well-behaved, polite and hard working the students of MBA are!
