On Friday 2nd October Mounts Bay students who learn French in Years 7, 8 and 9 smiled, giggled and had fun watching the playful French performance of the ‘Le Tour De France’ by Flying Theatre. All the characters in the performance were played by two very talented French performers who showed off their amazing acting skills and magic tricks that wowed the audience.
The whole play was spoken in French so all students had to use their French knowledge to work out what they were saying. It was hard at times, however, they tried to act out what they were saying which made it quite helpful. I would recommend this play to other schools so they could laugh as much as we did. Children from ages 6-13 would enjoy this French performance and I think it was a fun experience that all of us and the teachers seemed to enjoy.
