If you have a concern you can let us know using this online form.

Thinkuknow is an education programme from the National Crime Agency’s CEOP Command.

Since 2006, Thinkuknow have been keeping children and young people safe by providing education about abuse and exploitation.

Thinkuknow aims to ensure that everyone has access to this practical information – children, young people, their parents and carers and the professionals who work with them.

Alongside the Thinkuknow website the programme provides educational resources, including films, cartoons and lesson plans, to help professionals raise young people’s awareness.

Take a look at some of the short fun family activities that you can do to help you understand online safety on their website here:

CEOP works with child protection partners across the UK and overseas to identify the main threats to children and coordinates activity against these threats to bring offenders to account. They  protect children from harm online and offline, directly through NCA led operations and in partnership with local and international agencies.

Child protection is at the heart of everything they do and their approach is holistic. Law enforcement officers work side by side with professionals from the wider child protection community and industry.

It is not always easy to spot the signs of online grooming and exploitation so if you have any concern at all about someone your child is in contact with, you should get in touch.

You should always report if you or your child is or has been in contact with someone who is:

Chatting online about sex

Asking you/them to do sexual things on webcam

Asking to meet up if they’ve only met them online

Requesting sexual pictures

Forcing you/them into sexual activity

Making you/them feel unsafe

How do I make a report?

You can make a report to CEOP using the CEOP Safety Centre here:

You will be asked complete an online form which will ask you for your contact details and information about what has happened.

You should complete the form as fully as you can but don’t worry if you don’t have all of the details.

CEOP can investigate what is happening – with the assurance that the safety and wellbeing of your child is paramount at all times.
