Christmas Carol Service

On Monday Madron Church rang with festive music and cheer at the MBA Christmas Carol Service. There were festive readings, carols and musical pieces from students in all Year groups. 

During the day Year 7 students walked up to Madron Church in the festive chill and enjoyed an exclusive performance of the Service. Several students commented how it really made them feel festive!

IN the evening parents, carers and members of the community packed the church to enjoy the  wonderful atmosphere and performances. 

‘My Christmas Wish For You’ was read by Grace E, Louis N, Connor T-H, Darwin H and Jackson D  from Year 7. Year 8 students, Charity A, Malia W, Anya F, Zahra M, Dom  and Nat R read ‘The Christmas Star’.  ‘Wise Men Still Seek Him’ was read by Sophie P, Dan A, Jamie H and Agnes W  from Years 8 and 9. Year 10 students Lewis H, Lila W, Reggie R, Molly D and Gabriel T read ‘Christmas Bells’. ‘Luke 2: 8-20’

Was read by Carys H, Morva W, Isla M and Ivy K from Year 11.

The Junior Choir, The Treble Makers, ‘Silent Night’, ‘Fix You’,

The Senior Choir sang ‘River’ and ‘Go Your Ways Green Leaves’.

Year 7 singers provided a beautiful rendition of ‘Last Christmas’.

Oscar B performed ‘It’s beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas’ and also “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas’.

Mr Hall and the Reverend Howard Peskett delivered Christmas messages.
