Our Year 8 students are currently undertaking an Outdoor Learning Project at Bakers Pit in Nancledra. Their task is to produce a documentary video on the area: either the wildlife, the archaeological remains in the area, Bakers Pit itself and the china clay industry, a virtual tour of the area or Rogers Tower. In their small groups they have to research their topic before heading out and collect their own footage and information. They then have to edit their information together to produce a documentary.
The videos are judged and the winning teams get their videos on the school website and earn 10 credits each.
Well done to all Year 8 pupils who have put a lot of effort into the task and have represented the academy admirably.
