WOW Teaching

We believe that everyone learns best when they are engaged in a learning conversation that involves a group of inquisitive students and enthusiastic teachers.

We call this WOW Teaching (and learning). Today our Year 11 Geography students are revising their work from last year about Africa.

Mrs Davey and Mr Harvey offered to share their experiences of a series of exchange visits that we have had with schools in Nigeria and Ethopia in recent years. To make the lesson more memorable, they wore some authentic garments, used by teachers in Nigeria, that were presented to them during their visit.

The students were amazed at some of the differences between our lifestyles and their attention was definitely grabbed when Mrs Davey and Mr Harvey appeared at the start of their lesson.
