During Real Project this semester, Tom has been working on the ‘What makes an adventurer?’ project. This project challenges students views of what it means to be an adventurer, and asks them to reflect on diverse examples of adventurers throughout history. The students choose an adventurer who inspires them and they are currently making a persuasive film to present their ideas. Tom was was asked to do a piece of research homework, on what we mean by the term ‘explorer’. Tom went well beyond what was expected as he produced a video that included interviews of what others believed the term to mean. The video was well edited and showed an impressive commitment to the task and the desire to produce a piece of learning that was the best that he could do.
