Luke Flack was invited to join the Exeter Chief’s Academy up at Sandy Park in Exeter last October. After a lot of hard work, and many weekly trips up and down, Luke was selected to start at number 13 for his first game playing for Exeter against a strong Worcester Warriors side.
The game was played on the main pitch at Sandy Park with a good crowd of Chiefs supporters and parents. He played for the full 80 minutes of what was a very physical game. Chiefs narrowly lost by one try. The final score was 21 -14.
In two weeks Luke will be traveling with Exeter to Warwick for the day to play in a festival against other academies, then during the first week of the Easter holidays he will be playing at Wellington College in Berkshire where the England 16s squad will be selected from players from all of the academies.
