Premiership Rugby Debut

Congratulations to former Mounts Bay student Tyler Gendall, 22, who made his Premiership rugby debut over half term for Harlequins in their victory over Bristol.

Harlequins signed the former Cornish Pirates prop in January this year on a deal that lasts until the end of the season. Tyler had played over 50 games for the Pirates since signing for them in July 2014, as a member of the Player Development Foundation.

He was a member of the Mounts Bay Academy Rugby team, the Cornwall squad from under 15s to under 20s and was a member of the South West England under 20s squad. He also played for Exeter Chiefs Academy and whilst at Truro College competed in Dubai and Japan.
