This weekend we opened our doors to Year 5 and 6 students to experience our adventure learning curriculum first hand by taking part in our Bermuda Adventure.
Students arrived at the Academy and “checked-in” for their adventure with us before entering the spectacular ballroom to enjoy a pre-cruise cocktail..
They were then treated to an example of one of our curriculum launch events by experiencing an undersea adventure that resulted in them being marooned on a desert island and undertaking a number of real world science, music, language and sports challenges that allowed them to learn valuable information and skills from the national curriculum in an adventurous way.
Having successfully used their new knowledge to survive, signal for help and come together to communicate their position the morning culminated in a rescue from a special guest.
